Despite a reasonably strong financial performance and a relatively postive outlook, easyJet shares dived 9.2% yesterday. As long as Sir Stelios argues out his differences with other shareholders in public, easyJet stocks are in endangered species territory.
And, rather than aggressive board members, Aer Lingus has its employees to contend with. Strike action is on the cards today, unless talks at the Labour Relations Commission this morning are successful. The uncertainty helped the carrier's shares down 4.8% on the day.
