Etihad Airways - Good growth in passenger numbers, but yield remains a problem as network expands

According to a recent comment by Etihad's Head of Corporate Communication, Hareb Al-Muhairy, the airline will carry 7 million passengers in 2009. Al-Muhairy highlighted that the occupancy of the carrier is over 80%, which is better than the 75% passenger seat factor the airline announced it had achieved in 1Q2009.
