Embraer slashes global sales outlook, sees pain in small RJ segment
The global economic downturn is set to have a major impact on aircraft manufacturers, particularly those supplying aircraft for the smaller end of the market. Embraer has slashed its 20-year sales forecast (2009 to 2028) for the 30-120-seat commercial jet segment by over 10% and the total value of the segment by USD15 billion. [753 words]
