Embraer shares up as Brazilian stocks rise, EADS names new chairman – SHARE WRAP

Analysis

Brazilian aircraft manufacturer, Embraer, closed 4% higher yesterday, as the benchmark Ibovespa index closed up 0.82%. Foreign funds are reportedly wading back into Brazil on expectations its economy could recover faster than many other emerging nations.

EADS shares meanwhile eased 2.9% as the company named Bodo Uebber as the replacement for outgoing Chairman, Ruediger Grube, who is leaving to head up Deutsche Bahn. Uebber has been on the EADS board since 2004 and is currently the head of finance at German carmaker, Daimler.
