Edging towards profitability: Etihad Airways reports positive EBITDA for 1H2011

Premium Analysis

Etihad Airways has reported its most successful first half-year performance, delivering a positive EBTIDA and a 28% increase in revenue for the six months to 30-Jun-2011. The results were achieved despite the fragile state of the regional economy and air travel market in the Middle East, given the civil unrest in the region that erupted at the end of 2010.
