Part 1 of this report outlined the fact that a number of organisations in Scotland had misgivings about the transfer of Glasgow Prestwick airport into the public sector, i.e. through acquisition by an entity owned by Scottish Ministers.

The Glasgow Chamber of Commerce for example was concerned about the impact that public ownership of Prestwick might have on the fortunes of the private sector Glasgow International.

Since we published Part 1 it has become clear that Glasgow International itself might be at least a part-public sector candidate.
