China’s Hainan Meilan flat, Shenzhen leads the way down: Airport Share Wrap

Shares in China's Hainan Meilan International Airport closed virtually flat yesterday (+0.1%) on the day of its annual general meeting, H shareholders meeting, domestic shareholders class meeting and extraordinary general meeting.

An issue of A Shares pursuant to the terms and conditions set out in the resolution with all necessary approval from the CSRC and other relevant regulatory authorities has been approved. The working reports of the board of directors and supervisory committee have also been approved for year ended 31-Dec-2010, as well as the audited financial statements of the company and its subsidiaries as at and for the year ended 31-Dec-2009.

Elsewhere, Beijing Airport closed 0.5% lower. Also in China, Qianjiang Zhoubai Airport project successfully received tests by CAAC Flight School Centre and is scheduled to undergo flight tests in mid-Jul-2010, commencing operations before the National Day in Oct-2010.

China's Shenzhen Airport led the way down yesterday, losing 3.5%, while European operator, Aeroporto di Venezia jumped 3.7%.
