SYDNEY (Centre for Asia Pacific Aviation) - China Southern Airlines reported the following unaudited financial highlights in the three months ended 30-Sep-05:

Revenue: CNY11.4 billion, +69.4% year-on-year;

Net Profit: CNY852 million, +309.6% - attributed to stronger demand and synergies from acquisitions of China Northern Airlines and Xinjiang Airlines.
Nine months ended 30-Sep-05:

Revenue: CNY29.5 billion, +64.8%;

Net Profit: CNY9 million, compared to CNY541 million in previous corresponding period, due to heavy 1H05 losses.
