Cathay Pacific CEO, Tony Tyler, stated Asia Pacific airlines
are on the way to becoming the biggest airlines in the world, wielding growing
influence over the global aviation industry. But challenges will always remain
in this “fickle industry", according to Mr Tyler, who points to three
key issues Asian carriers will face: the growing environmental debate, airspace
congestion and ever-increasing competition.
