CAPA announces major commercial aviation strategy summit for Asia in Singapore: 13-15 October 2014

Press Release

CAPA - Centre for Aviation, a global leader in aviation market intelligence and industry summits, is pleased to announce a new CEO airline summit for Asia, the CAPA Asia Aviation Summit and LCC Congress, covering LCCs and other airlines, will be held in Singapore on 13-15 October at Sentosa Island's Capella Singapore.

The Asia Aviation Summit and LCC Congress will bring together up to 30 CEOs of leading carriers based in Asia, as well as those serving the world's most vibrant aviation region. It will explore in depth the key strategic and commercial issues driving the future of aviation in this region, including low cost airlines, hybridisation, full service carriers and global alliances, as well as the key ancillary/merchandising, distribution and technology trends. It will also have a dedicated day on corporate travel, with a focus on the procurement of air travel, and the key drivers of change in this crucial space.

"Since our first LCC event in 2004, CAPA has more recently organised a successful series of events on LCCs and New Airlines in North Asia in Macau and Seoul. We have received numerous requests from participants and partners to broaden this event to include the whole of the region and all airline business models. We look forward to returning with a truly pan-Asia event encompassing the diversity of airlines serving our region in October in one of Asia's most exciting aviation hubs, Singapore", said Peter Harbison, Executive Chairman of CAPA.

CAPA is renowned for its high quality, content-rich summits.
