British Airways writes down its stake in Flybe
British Airways (BA) wrote down the value of its 15% share in Flybe by GBP13 million at the end of May-2009, to approximately GBP30 million, suggesting the LCC’s overall value is currently GBP200 million. BA acquired Flybe in 2006, as part of its sale of BA Connect. [789 words]
