Bengaluru International Airport finally receives approval to introduce domestic user charges
Bangalore International Airport Ltd (BIAL) received the breakthrough it had been waiting seven months for, finally receiving Ministry of Civil Aviation approval to introduce INR260 (USD5.35) in User Development Fees (UDF) to all outbound domestic passengers at Bengaluru International Airport from 16-Jan-09. The UDF is inclusive of taxes and will apply to all domestic outbound travellers regardless of the date of booking or purchase of ticket.
