Analysis

Aviapartner Handling announced it has been awarded ground handling

contracts in Lyon, Marseille, Nice and Toulouse. Contracts include:

In total, this represents an increase in volume for the French network, with an increase of 12.000 flights per year, ie 13 % of the annual French volume.

The services to be provided by Aviapartner include passenger services (check-in, boarding assistance, baggage tracing services, assistance to disabled passengers), aircraft handling (loading and unloading, ground power, cleaning, water and sanitary services, freight and baggage transfer, crew transfer, headset, pushback and towing, aircraft de-icing), and traffic operations (flight documentation, communication, weight and balance, crew briefing, and flight supervision).

Nigel Daniel, EVP Ground Handling of Aviapartner: "This agreement represents a major step forward for the stations involved and for the entire Aviapartner French network. These various contracts also reinforce our co-operation with the airlines involved. Indeed, we already handle several of these airlines in various other stations of our 38-airport network, but these contracts confirm the good working relationship we have with them."
