Aircastle and Aercap yo-yo as sentiments ebb and flow. Aviation supplier share prices
Analysis
Aircastle and Aercap again moved violently, this time downwards again, as uncertainty surrounds the leasing market. Babcock and Brown, which also had a good lift yesterday, also fell, but more modestly.
Aircastle's aircraft portfolio at 30-Sep-08 consisted of 133 aircraft. Just under half are narrow body short haul aircraft. Some 27% are dedicated freighters. The lessor has 58 lessees located in 33 countries.
Rolls Royce, quietly in favour, continued moving upwards on the day.
