AirAsia plans to continue with its ambitious route expansion programme in 2H08, stating it has no plans to scale back growth plans. AirAsia’s expansionist philosophy is in contrast to numerous other airlines, worldwide and in the Asia Pacific region, which have reduced capacity growth in 2008, and scaled back growth plans for 2H08 and 2009.
