Air Macau posts record-high profit in 2005

SYDNEY (Centre for Asia Pacific Aviation) - Air Macau reports the following financial/traffic highlights for the 12 months ended 31-Dec-05:

  • Net profit: Record high MOP2.4 billion, year-on-year comparison not disclosed;
  • Passengers: 2.1 million;
  • Freight: 150,000 tonnes.

Air Macau announced plans to launch services to the Mainland cities of Hangzhou, Sanya, Guiyang and Zhangjiajie in 2006, but further details were not disclosed.
