Air China to issue 2 bln yuan in short-term debt on Aug 29

Beijing (XFNews-ASIA) - Air China Ltd (SHA 601111; HK 0753), the country's largest international carrier, said it has received approval from the central bank to issue 2 bln yuan in short-term debt on the mainland's interbank bonds market.

The lender told the Shanghai Stock Exchange that the short-term debt will have a maturity of 365 days and that proceeds will be used to support its daily operations.

Air China also said that it has received a 305.43 mln eur 30-year loan from the Spanish government, using the housing units provided for its aviators as collateral.
