Air China, Lufthansa JV signs landing gear agreement with Cathay Pacific

Beijing (XFN-ASIA) - Ameco Beijing, an aircraft maintenance

joint venture between Air China and Lufthansa, said it has signed an agreement

with Cathay Pacific to provide landing gear exchange and overhaul services to

the Hong Kong-based carrier.

In a statement, Ameco Beijing said it will provide Airbus A320/A321 landing gear exchange and overhaul services for Cathay Pacific from 2007 to 2015.

Air China holds a 60 pct stake in Ameco Beijing while Lufthansa holds the remaining 40 pct.

The joint venture is based at Beijing Capital International Airport.
