Aercap, BE Aerospace, Menzies lead the market down. Aviation suppliers share prices

Analysis

Aercap (-8.6%), BE Aerospace (-6.3%) and Menzies (-6.2%) were the biggest losers in value yesterday, representing a wide cross section of the aviation suppliers' market.

For aircraft lessor, corporate jet interior supplier and ground handler, the message was clear for industry product deliveries. This is a broad decline and no-one is exempt.

Boeing was not far behind, down 5.4%, with Airbus/EADS also losing 4.4%. Aircraft orders, made so freely over the past three years, are now becoming ugly ducklings; manufacturers will be hoping that they eventually turn into swans.
