About

Established in 2005, United Airways was a private airline based in Dhaka, Bangladesh. From its base at Shahjalal International Airport, the carrier operated domestic service as well as international service to destinations in Asia, the Middle East and Europe. It suspended operations from early 2016, after grounding its only operational aircraft for maintenance. The carrier stated it plans to resume operations, subject to the acquisition of aircraft.
