About

Maria da Glória Transportes Aéreos was a proposed Brazilian start-up to be based at Joao Pessoa Castro Pinto Airport. The carrier had been licensed by Agência Nacional de Aviação Civil-ANAC to operate scheduled public passenger, cargo and mail services. The start-up initially planned to commence in 2015 using either Embraer E120 and ATR-42 aircraft for its initial services. Maria da Glória Transportes Aéreos was awarded its Air Operator's Certificate (AOC) from ANAC in Oct-2014. A revised launch date has not been specified, it is assumed that the carrier has abandoned plans to launch operations.
