Vinci Airports wins auction to operate seven airports in Brazil

Vinci Airports confirmed (07-Apr-2021) it won a tender to operate seven airports in Brazil under a 30 year concession contract. The airports comprise Manaus Eduardo Gomes International Airport, Tabatinga Airport, Tefe Airport, Rio Branco Placido de Castro Airport, Cruzeiro do Sul Airport, Porto Velho Airport and Boa Vista International Airport. Vinci noted the seven airports handled 4.7 million passengers in 2019 and reported plans to implement measures to convert the airports into eco efficient facilities, including establishing photovoltaic solar power plants.
