VINCI Airports completes construction of a new cargo terminal at Santo Domingo Airport

VINCI Airports inaugurated (02-Nov-2020) a cargo terminal at Santo Domingo Las Americas International Airport. The works were carried out by VINCI Construction Grands Projects and the associated investment amounted to about EUR14 million. The new warehouse is 6800sqm and includes a commercial building housing restaurants, banking services, offices, counters for customs officers and administrative facilities. The inauguration ceremony also started a new investment phase for the airport, which will be completed in 2021 and involves extending the atrium in the passenger terminal as well as modernising the immigration and security departments' facilities.
