Tiger Airways Australia is reportedly considering scaling back its Australian operations after its re-launch (Sydney Morning Herald, 30-Jul-2011). Tiger Airways Holdings CEO, Chin Yau Seng said the airline "lost money in Australia in the last financial year and said then that we would review the network and focus on our more profitable routes." He confirmed the network review had been in progress even before the grounding of Tiger's Australian fleet.
