TAP offers overview into its network plan for Aug/Sep-2020 with 40% of pre-COVID operations
TAP Air Portugal announced (27-Jul-2020) the carrier is gradually restoring operations. TAP scheduled approximately 500 weekly frequencies in Aug-2020 on 66 routes. For Sep-2020, the carrier scheduled close to 700 frequencies weekly on 76 routes. Sep-2020 frequencies represent around 40% of TAP's pre-coronavirus operations. TAP's plans for Aug-2020 include the following:
- Brazil: 18 weekly frequencies;
- North America: 20 weekly frequencies to six destinations;
- Africa: 44 weekly frequencies to nine destinations;
- Europe: 329 weekly frequencies to 30 destinations;
- Portugal: 126 weekly frequencies to six destinations;
TAP's plans for Sep-2020 include the following:
- Brazil: 22 weekly frequencies;
- North America: 22 weekly frequencies to eight destinations;
- Africa: 59 weekly frequencies to 13 destinations;
