Synergy Aerospace firms up order for nine A330 family aircraft

Synergy Aerospace signed (12-Jul-2012) a firm order for nine A330 family aircraft, including six A330-200 passenger and three A330-200F aircraft. Rolls-Royce was awarded a USD630 million contract with the Brazilian conglomerate to provide provide Trent 700 engines and TotalCare long-term engine service support for the nine aircraft. Airbus COO customers John Leahy said, "Airbus is proud that Synergy will be among the first in Latin America to benefit from the A330F's outstanding economics and proven track record."
