StarFlyer reports operating profit of USD12m in nine months to Dec-2011

StarFlyer reported the following financial highlights for nine months ended 31-Dec-2011:

  • Revenue: USD211.7 million, n/a year-on-year;
  • Operating profit: USD11.9 million;
  • “Recurring profit”: USD9.0 million;
  • Net profit: USD8.8 million;
  • Passenger numbers: 688,898;
  • Load factor: 6.4%;
  • Total assets: USD130.1 million, +34.5% when compared to period ended 31-Mar-2011;
  • Cash at hand and in banks: USD43.9 million, -6.5% when compared to period ended 31-Mar-2011;
  • Total liabilities: USD82.9 million, +30.4% when compared to period ended 31-Mar-2011.

The carrier also reported the following traffic highlights for Dec-2011:

  • Passenger numbers: 88,366, +52.8% year-on-year;
  • Seats: 139,408, +72.3%;
  • Passenger load factor: 63.4%, -8.1 ppts;
  • Number of flights: 1260, +42.5%;
  • On-time departure rate: 96.8%, +7.4 ppts.
