Southwest Airlines retires last 737-500 aircraft

Southwest Airlines, via its official Twitter account, announced (05-Sep-2016) its remaining Boeing 737-500 aircraft will be retired after operating its last service on 05-Sep-2016. According to the CAPA Fleet Database, Southwest operates two 737-500 aircraft with five more inactive.
