Ryanair to expand EUR10 reserved seat charge

Ryanair stated it will might allow passengers on all services to reserve seats, after the completion of a "surprisingly successful" trial of a seat reservation option on services from Dublin to London Gatwick and Malaga (The Independent, 02-Jun-2011). The option will cost passengers EUR10. Ryanair's director of customer service Caroline Green said an extension of the scheme would take place on another route over this summer and a decision on whether to extend the service across its entire network would be made in Sep-2011.
