Russia records 8% increase in upper airspace movements in May-2019, domestic movements up 16%

Russia's Federal Air Transport Agency reported (13-Jun-2019) Russian and foreign carriers operated 156,300 aircraft movements in Russia's upper airspace in May-2019, an increase of 8.4% year-on-year. 78,970 aircraft movements were performed on domestic routes, up 16.0%, and 77,300 aircraft movements on international routes, up 2.0%, including 25,030 aircraft movements on transit routes.
