Qatar Airways to order 'large number' of A380s

Qatar Airways CEO Akbar Al Baker stated the carrier will order a "large number" of A380s (Bloomberg, 18-Jan-2011). The carrier, which also has B787s on order, is receiving an average of two aircraft per month to increase its fleet, which stands at 94 aircraft. The carrier has 171 aircraft on order, including options.

Qatar Airways: "We have five A380s on order and imminently we will order another large number of the same aircraft ... We are going to get the 787s and we are going to be one of the early recipients.
