Qantas Group exploring options to extend WiFi to its regional and international fleets

Qantas Group reported (24-Aug-2016) it is in the final stages of exploring options to extend WiFi to its regional and international fleets. Qantas is also exploring a partnership with Cricket Australia to live-stream cricket over summer 2016-17, on the aircraft involved in the WiFi technology trial. The carrier has previously announced an investment in eight Boeing 787-9s for Qantas International, inflight WiFi for Qantas Domestic, and new lounges in London Heathrow and Brisbane, in addition to the refresh of QantasA330 and 737-800 fleets.
