National Hajj Commission of Nigeria threatens indebted carriers

National Hajj Commission of Nigeria announced that carriers which are indebted will not be allowed to airlift pilgrims for this year's Hajj operations. The total debts owed all service providers by airlines as at December last year was more than USD111 million (NGN17 billion).

National Hajj Commission of Nigeria: "Specifically, evidence of clearance from indebtedness to the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority, Nigerian Airspace Management Agency, Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN), and Skyway Aviation Handling Company Ltd must be provided."
