Narita to consider feasibilty of LCCT

Japan's Narita International Airport Corporation (NAA) Senior Executive Officer Yoshijiro Hirayama stated the airport would consider the feasibility of an exclusive LCCT at the airport (Travel Vision/Nikkan Koku, 28-Feb-2011). The airport has held discussions with eight Asia Pacific LCCs in Jan-2011 about operating services to/from Narita. The airport also stated it would develop incentives for new airlines adding that it "would not change the decision of nullifying 7% reduction across the board of landing fees which would be applicable until the end of March".
