Macau reports 15% increase in visitor arrivals in 11 months to Nov-2010

Macua's Tourism Agency stated Macau's visitor arrivals rose 15% to 22.7 million in the 11 months to Nov-2010 with tourists from mainland China increased 20.5% in the period (Bloomberg, 03-Jan-2011). This means more than 80% of Macau's tourist arrivals come from mainland China and Hong Kong. Meanwhile, casino revenue in Macau surged 66% to USD2.4 billion in Dec-2010 on increased Chinese visits.
