Lufthansa Group trials integration of COVID-19 test certificates into travel processes

Lufthansa Group announced (23-Feb-2021) plans to integrate COVID-19 test certificates into the digital travel chain. The company will initially give passengers the option to send test certificates prior to boarding for Lufthansa services from Frankfurt to Istanbul, and from New York Newark to Frankfurt and Munich. SWISS passengers will be able to use the service from New York Newark to Zurich during Mar-2021. Depending on the findings of the initial trial, it is planned to enable test certificates to be sent for all services.
