Lufthansa Cargo to invest in modernisation of Frankfurt cargo hub

Lufthansa Cargo announced (21-Feb-2021) its supervisory board approved an investment to further develop and renew the logistics centre at its home hub in Frankfurt on a modular basis. Modernisation of the Lufthansa Cargo Center commenced in Jan-2021 and is to be completed in 2028. The cargo centre in Frankfurt handle's around 80% of its global freight volume. [more - original PR]
