Lift Airline to focus on flexibility & busy routes amid uncertain demand: founder

Lift Airline founder Gidon Novack said while the airline will launch in a "risky" and "uncertain" period it is well positioned to meet increasing domestic travel demand within South Africa (CapeTalk, 02-Nov-2020). Mr Novack said flexibility is a central part of Lift Airline's model, noting its partnership with Global Aviation Operations means access to a flexible fleet, "able to ramp up and ramp down very quickly". Mr Novack also reported there are no plans to serve smaller cities, with the focus to remain on high traffic routes.
