Kingfisher may cancel A380 and A350 orders

Kingfisher Airlines CEO Sanjay Aggarwal stated the carrier may cancel its A380s and A350s or alter its order to comprise of A320 and A330 aircraft instead (Business Standard, 20-Feb-2011). The delivery of the A380 and A350 equipment is scheduled to commence from 2014.In 2005, Kingfisher became the only Indian airline to order A380 equipment. Deliveries have been deferred once already, from 2011 to 2014.

Kingfisher Airlines: "We are reviewing our purchase plan of A380s and A350s. With our airline joining the Oneworld Alliance, we do not need these ultra long-haul aircraft any more.
