Johannesburg is Emirates' next A380 destination

Emirates announced (11-May-2011) it will launch A380 service to Johannesburg from 01-Oct-2011. The service will be the airline's first A380 service to the African continent, which was one of Emirates' strongest performing regions in the year to 30-Mar-2011, with passenger traffic up 12%. Revenue from South Africa was up 34% in the period. The airline's A380 will be configured with 489 seats in three classes. [more]
