JetBlue Airways and British Airways announce interline agreement

JetBlue Airways and British Airways announced (15-Aug-2013) an interline agreement, connecting the two carriers' networks at New York JFK, Boston Logan, Orlando and Washington Dulles. The carriers plan to interline initially on 18 daily British Airways transatlantic frequencies, as well as more than 50 US routes operated by JetBlue and more than 100 British Airways routes from London. JetBlue Airways VP of network planning and partnerships Scott Laurence said: "This partnership provides our customers with even more possibilities to travel smoothly across Europe and other destinations in BA's extensive route network." British Airways head of alliances Steve Ronald added: "JetBlue is a well-respected, modern airline and we are delighted to be working with the carrier to offer our customers smooth connections to an even greater choice of destinations in the US."
