Japan Tourism Minister concerned about China fallout

Japan's new Minister of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism, Sumio Mabuchi, stated he is concerned current political tensions between Japan and China (involving a maritime incident earlier this month near the disputed Senkaku Islands) could seriously damage the tourism industry, which is starting to see trip cancellations, including one involving approximately 10,000 employees of a Chinese company (The Japan Times, 24-Sep-2010).
