Indian Government further extends deadline for Air India divestment EoI to 14-Dec-2020

India's Government further extended (29-Oct-2020) the deadline for the submission of bids on its EoI for the divestment of Air India, Air India Express and Air India SATS Airport Services PVT Limited from 30-Oct-2020 to 14-Dec-2020, due to the impact of coronavirus. The government also revised the terms of the EoI so that "instead of a pre-fixed debt level, bidders are now allowed to quote Enterprise Value of" Air India. India's Minister of State for Civil Aviation Hardeep Singh Puri, via his official Twitter account, stated (30-Oct-2020) the revision "gives more leverage to bidders for participation in the process".
