India Government directs airports to screen arrivals from Macau and Taiwan for coronavirus symptoms

Airports Authority of India, via its official Twitter account, stated (03-Mar-2020) India's Government instructed international airports to commence thermal screening of all arriving passengers travelling on services from Macau and Taiwan to detect symptoms of coronavirus. Indian airports are already undertaking screening of arriving passengers travelling on services from mainland China, Hong Kong, Thailand, Singapore, Japan, South Korea, Nepal, Indonesia, Vietnam, Malaysia, Italy and Iran. The government also directed airports to collect travel history information from all international arrivals to India, including Indian nationals and foreign nationals.
