IAG passenger numbers up 6.4% in May-2011

International Airlines Group (IAG) reports (03-Jun-2011) the following consolidated traffic highlights in May-2011:

  • Passenger numbers: 4.4 million, +6.4% year-on-year;
  • Passenger load factor: 78.1%, +4.7 ppts;
    • Domestic (UK and Spain): 74.4%, +2.2 ppts;
    • Europe: 74.9%, +1.8 ppts;
    • North America: 83.9%, +7.4 ppts;
    • Latin America and Caribbean: 79.3%, -1.1 ppts;
    • Africa, Middle East and S.Asia: 70.1%, +8.2 ppts;
    • Asia Pacific: 75.4%, +5.9 ppts;
  • Cargo traffic (FTKs): +2.7%. [more]
