IAG passenger numbers up 6.4% in May-2011
International Airlines Group (IAG) reports (03-Jun-2011) the following consolidated traffic highlights in May-2011:
- Passenger numbers: 4.4 million, +6.4% year-on-year;
- Domestic (UK and Spain): 911,000, -10.9%;
- Europe: 2.0 million, +8.7%;
- North America: 735,000, +23.3%;
- Latin America and Caribbean: 376,000, +14.6%;
- Africa, Middle East and S. Asia: 308,000, +4.4%;
- Asia Pacific: 115,000, +19.8%;
- Passenger load factor: 78.1%, +4.7 ppts;
- Domestic (UK and Spain): 74.4%, +2.2 ppts;
- Europe: 74.9%, +1.8 ppts;
- North America: 83.9%, +7.4 ppts;
- Latin America and Caribbean: 79.3%, -1.1 ppts;
- Africa, Middle East and S.Asia: 70.1%, +8.2 ppts;
- Asia Pacific: 75.4%, +5.9 ppts;
