IADB: Local airport operators process 45% of Latin America and Caribbean traffic

Inter-American Development Bank (IADB), in a report entitled: 'Perfil de Las Asociaciones Public-Privadas en Aeropuertos de America Latina y el Caribe: Principales Cifras y Tendencias del Sector', stated (Jan-2020) local airport operators process 45% of the region's traffic. This was highlighted by examining the roles by Corporacion America, Invepar, CCR, Odinsa, Grupo Aeroportuario del Sureste (ASUR) and Controladora Mexicana de Aeropuertos. These airport operators have expanded their operations beyond their original country borders. International operators process 32% of the region's traffic, with Fraport, Vinci and Aena being examined.
