Hawaiian Airlines commences modernisation programme at Honolulu Daniel K Inouye

Hawaiian Airlines reported (08-Nov-2019) a two year programme in Honolulu Daniel K Inouye International Airport to modernise its lobbies. The carrier has commenced a project to install new check in kiosks in lobby 2 and 3 of terminal 1, and upon completion of this project plans to introduce a number of other planned improvements at its main hub to enhance the guest experience. Effective 11-Nov-2019, the carrier will commence installation of 54 Embross check in kiosks in lobby 2 and 3, to replace the current 48 kiosks. Additionally, it will rearrange guest queuing to improve lobby flow and install new signage and check in podiums with bag scales. The addition of a Mauka security checkpoint and access to the Mauka Concourse is also planned. Renovations are scheduled for off peak hours and overnight. [more - original PR]
