Germany sends team to Namibia after police find suspect package

Germany’s Federal Criminal Office has sent a team to Namibia after police found a suspect package at Windhoek Airport on an airberlin flight to Munich on 17-Nov-2010 (Reuters, 18-Nov-2010/Bloomberg, 19-Nov-2010). Namibian Airports Company stated the package was not part of a drill. The German Government increased security at the country’s airports earlier this week on concerns of a terrorist threat.
