flypop to receive 'significant investment' from the UK Government Future Fund

flypop announced (02-Nov-2020) it will receive a "significant investment" from the UK Government's Future Fund. flypop founder and CEO Nino Singh Judge stated "the funding from the UK Government's Future Fund will play a key role in putting flypop in a position to start flights, initially between the UK and India". The start up LCC plans to launch services in 2021 and will "continue discussions with aircraft manufacturers to secure the best deals" and commence "negotiating low cost airport deals in both the UK and India" in the near future.
