Finavia’s airports have been carbon neutral since 2019, and it aimed to reach net zero emissions across its airport network by the end of 2025. Ivalo, Kittila, Kuusamo, and Rovaniemi airports achieved a 98% emissions reduction over the past decade by using only renewable energy, and received Level 5 ACI Airport Carbon Accreditation and the Sustainable Travel Finland certificate recently1.
